Folk Art Cake Painting Class

Salam and hello fellow passionate baker and decorators..

We will be having a Folk Art Cake Painting Class by Mr Zahir Yusof at Amore soon and would love to have you with us in this class!



In this class, participants will be learning the basic brushstroke technique in Folk Art and how to transfer the pattern as well as paint daisies on a fondant covered dummy cake. A demonstration will also be done to show how to paint on real cakes/cupcakes. It is assumed that all attendees know how to wrap a cake with fondant. (Attendees need NOT necessarily have any skills in painting)

Time : 11.00 am - 2.00 pm (which includes 1/2 hour demonstration time)
Price: RM 250.00

For this class, students will be provided with:
> 8" Dummy cake wrapped with fondant.
> 2 types of paint brush (Round and liner brushes)
> Food paint to be shared among the attendees.
> Worksheets and pattern

Students will only need to bring apron and kitchen towel.

A little background on Mr Zahir Yusof:

Mr Zahir Yusof is a decorative artist who has a shop at Amcorp Mall, PJ that sells painting materials and run art & craft classes.He has been in this business for 10 years and have authored three painting books. Baking is his hobby and he has attended all the baking and decorating series of classes at ICCA.
